Why we exist.

Strong schools are built on strong foundations—the financial stability and facilities that make transformational learning possible.

PSwrx exists to strengthen individual schools and the charter sector by turning technical functions like finance and real estate into strategic tools for sustainable growth and long-term student impact. We help schools build the financial and facilities foundations they need to thrive.

We’re a nonprofit, by design

Unlike other contractors, consultants, or owner's reps, PSwrx is a nonprofit—student impact is our bottom line. No upsells, no hidden fees. Just mission-driven expertise in service of schools and students.

Our values

Radical Responsibility

If we’re in, we’re all in.

No matter the challenge, we own our role and follow through relentlessly. We don’t blame the system, pass the buck, or wait for someone else.

Integrity

We follow principles, not applause.

We measure success by the impact we create, not the recognition we receive.

Humanity

Hard choices, human focus.

We confront challenges with resolve and deliver solutions with compassion.

Tenacity

Optimism drives us, effort defines us.

We don’t shy away from the tough path—we face it. We calculate the odds, show up when it’s heavy, and persist until we’ve given it our all. If there’s a chance, we’ll fight for it.

Innovation

Static isn’t in our DNA.

We question what’s been done, look for what’s next, and refuse to settle for 'good enough.' We never stop improving, even when we’ve nailed it in the past.

Our name

Pronounced: P (the letter P) + S (the letter S) + works

The PS

Public Service. Public School. Paradigm Shifting.

Those all work - and they are all true. Read it as the one that suits you. Change your reading as your feeling and focus of the day shift. We're ok with that. We pivot to the moment, solving, delivering, and “wash, rinse and repeating”—over and over again.

The wrx

The Works. The back end. The technical guts that make it move seamlessly while no one is watching.

The least sexy stuff. Real estate. Financing. Not small components of each—all of it. Deep long-strategy that people assume was luck but was orchestrated to the nail & penny.  Our successes are not happenstance—we are extreme thinkers, planners, solvers, and doers.

Why PSwrx?

Because our name reflects what we do: complex, strategic, essential work that doesn't need to be flashy to be transformative. The name suits us: unique, precise, and built for purpose.

Our story

The story of PSwrx doesn’t start in a boardroom. It starts inside schools.

It starts with leaders unloading chairs before opening day. With late-night budget decisions that carry real consequences. With buildings that quietly shape how students learn—and whether those buildings were made to last.

The founders of PSwrx didn’t observe this work from the outside. Diane Flynn, Ahkilah Johnson, and Lindsay Matovich worked inside school organizations for years, helping networks grow, build, finance, and operate under pressure. Their proximity revealed something most advisors never see: that schools face highly complex financial and real estate challenges—with thinner margins, stricter constraints, and far less room for error than most other businesses.

Each founder arrived at this work differently, but shared the same realization: the business of running a school demands as much care as the mission. Finance and real estate aren’t side projects—they are the backbone that determine whether a school endures or erodes. They'd learned what others hadn't: that planning for and protecting a school's trajectory requires expertise most schools simply don't have access to.

Together, they recognized a gap no one else was filling. Schools didn’t need another consultant or one-off project team. They needed an integrated, mission-and-incentive-aligned partner—one that treated educating students as a long-term obligation, and believed the institutions that take it on deserve systems built to last.

PSwrx was built to meet that need. From the beginning, our work has focused on building the financial and facilities foundations that allow schools not just to survive, but to thrive.
